Ballia (Uttar Pradesh): The house of an accused of allegedly assaulting a 13-year-old girl in the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh has been partially demolished in a buldozer action.
While talking to mediapersons, Ballia’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Raj Karan Nayyar was asked if the house of the accused had been bulldozed. However, he did not give any satisfying reply, but managed to say that the necessary action had been taken.

Naushad, the accused, had allegedly cut the wrist of a 13-year-old girl who was found in a severely injured condition at the roadside on October 15.
The police nabbed the culprit, who had also tried to escape custody but failed. The accused also got injured during an encounter with the police while trying to run away.
The police accused the culprit of having aimed a gun at the police, so they had to resort to firing at Naushad.
As per Ballia’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Raj Karan Nayyar, the girl was found injured with her wrist cut. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital where she is undergoing treatment.
The Ballia police have also informed us that there was no evidence of rape and sexual assault on the victim’s body in the prima facie investigation. However, the relevant sections have been charged with the matter.
