Udaipur: A 9-year-old girl was raped in Mavli Tehsil of Udaipur District. The accused killed her with a sharp weapon and cut the body into 10 pieces to dispose of. After killing the girl, he kept her dead body in a bag and kept it with him for two days, and then, after getting a chance, he put it in his hideout. At present, the police have arrested the accused, and further investigation is underway.

This incident occurred in Lopra village, in the Mavli police station area of the district. SP Vikas Sharma said on Sunday that a 9-year-old girl studying in class 4 had left school on March 29 at around 4 p.m. to go to the farm. When she did not reach the farm, the family members searched for her. When the girl was not found, the father informed the police about the matter. The police had registered a case under IPC 363 and started looking for him. Meanwhile, on Saturday evening, after searching around the house, pieces of the dead body were found in a sack in ruins, about 200 metres from the girl’s house.

The police collected all the pieces and sent the body for post-mortem to Udaipur MB Hospital. During the post-mortem, it was revealed that the accused had cut the girl into 10 pieces with a knife after raping her. After the postmortem, the body was handed over to the relatives.

The SP told that in this case the accused Kamlesh, 21, has been arrested. When he saw this girl going to the field in front of the house, he went to her. The girl knew this accused, so she went with him to his house, where the accused Kamlesh raped her. Fearing that the pole would not open later, he cut it into pieces with a knife kept in the house and kept them in a sack.
