Greater Noida: Exciting news for residents of Greater Noida West! The Greater Noida Authority is taking action to alleviate traffic congestion at the 4 Murti roundabout by constructing an 800-foot long, 4-lane underpass on the 60-meter road.
This underpass will directly connect Gaur City to Artha Road, passing under Char Murti Gol Chakkar, providing a direct route to NH-24 via the Surajpur police line from Greater Noida East. The estimated cost of the project is approximately Rs 80 crore.
A presentation was recently held at the Greater Noida Authority, where they shared the study conducted by RITES Company, revealing that about 9 thousand vehicles traverse the Char Murti roundabout daily, leading to traffic jams.
With rapid development, including home builders providing possessions to buyers quickly and establishments like schools, colleges, BPOs, nursing homes, hospitals, and malls preparing to open, the pressure on vehicles is expected to increase in the future. Keeping this in mind, the authority is proactively planning for the future by constructing the underpass. The project is anticipated to take around two and a half years to complete.
