Noida: The process of developing Film City in Sector-21 of Yamuna Expressway Authority has gained momentum. Six Bollywood companies have agreed to build the country's biggest film city. These companies have come forward and submitted their proposals to the Yamuna Authority. An amendment has been made to the master plan for Film City. An amusement park on the lines of Disneyland will be built inside Film City.
Proposals have been submitted by Gulshan Kumar's company T-Series, KC Bokadio Production House, Kailash Masoom, Anil Kapoor Production House, Rajpal Yadav, Rajinikanth Production House, and builder Omaxe. The Yamuna Authority will now study the proposals submitted by all these production houses.

Film City will be built in four stages. Activities connected to film production will be developed in the first phase. This will include the development of film studios, open areas, amusement parks, villas, and so on. On 120 acres, an amusement park will be developed, as will film studios on 20 acres apiece. In the first phase, 80 per cent of the film's building work will be completed. So that the filming can begin as soon as the first phase is completed.
In the second phase of Film City, hospitality, resort, and commercial activities will be created. So that those who come to shoot can be comfortable. In addition, businesses associated with these should be encouraged. The third and final phase will see retail development. This step will complete all of the remaining tasks.
