Not every love story ends happily. There are plenty weird love stories. A similar incident occurred in Korba, Chhattisgarh, when a girl fell in love with a boy and trusted him. However, the boy strangled her love and trust and murdered her. Even after death, the girl continued to pursue and avenge her death.

This incident occurred in Korba, Chhattisgarh, when a 24-year-old girl called Anju Yadav had been missing for about 8 months. Anju was assassinated by her insane lover, Gopal Khadiya. He buried the dead body in a 20-foot trench in a nursery to conceal his crime.

However, after much work, the police discovered the deceased and apprehended the culprit. During this time, however, the accused made a surprising revelation.
Girlfriend’s ghost haunts me
The culprit, Gopal Khadia, was apprehended by police on Tuesday. During questioning, he admitted to his crime but also made a surprising revelation. He stated that he has been living in fear for the past 8 months because the spirit of his girlfriend haunts him at all hours of the day and night and prevents him from living calmly.
The accused also admitted to strangling his girlfriend to death and burying her body in the nursery to conceal his crime. When the body was recovered by police, Anju’s mother got distraught and demanded harsh punishment for the culprit.
How love story began
Accused Gopal revealed that he had worked as a truck driver in a brick kiln. Anju Yadav used to help load bricks into the kiln. They met during this time. They kept communicating, and their friendship blossomed into love. Both had been in a relationship for the past three years.

Anju, then, began pressuring him for marriage, which caused both of them to dispute and be disturbed. Gopal devised a plot to remove Anju from the path, and he brought her to the teak nursery of Dhelwadih and strangled her to death there.
