Patna: Four people injured following a shooting incident in Bihar’s Bettiah on Thursday morning. Miscreants opened indiscriminate fire in Golaghat Dumri Ahiroli village of Yogapatti police station area, 20 km from Bettiah, the headquarters of West Champaran district.
Four people have been shot in the firing.
Reports suggest that villagers caught the criminal with a pistol. Yogapatti police are interrogating the arrested criminal.
Among the injured were Raja Babu Patel, ward member of Dumri Panchayat, his brother Vijay Kumar Patel, rural Sudhan Manjhi and Rustam Mian. Raja Babu Patel is shot in the throat.
The criminal targeted the members of Raja Babu’s family.
