New Delhi: After thoroughly investigating footage of 300 CCTV cameras Delhi Police arrested a woman who allegedly killed her married boyfriend’s 11-year-old son in Delhi’s Indrapuri area 4 days ago.
According to reports, accused Pooja allegedly strangled the innocent Divyansh (11-year-old boy) to death on August 10 while he was sleeping and hid the body inside the bed thereafter.
As per sources, Since 2019, Pooja and Jitendra were in a live-in relationship. Jitendra had promised to marry her by divorcing his wife, but in 2022, Jitendra left Pooja and went back to live with his wife and son Divyansh.
Pooja had a feeling that Jitendra refused to marry her because of his son Divyansh, after which she started considering Divyansh as a thorn between Jitendra and herself.
Killed Divyansh when no one was in house
On August 10, Pooja asked a common friend for the address of Jitendra’s house in Indrapuri. When she arrived there, the door of the house was open and Divyansh was sleeping on the bed, there was no one in the house. Then Pooja killed the innocent and ran away hiding the dead body in the same bed.
Police identified Pooja with the help of CCTV cameras. footage of about 300 CCTV cameras of Ranhola, Nihal Vihar, and Rishal Garden areas on Najafgarh-Nangloi road was searched to trace the accused. Police arrested her from the Bakkarwala area. After a strict investigation, she confessed her crime.
