The Noida International Airport (NIA) on Friday announced that it has partnered with Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) to boost regional connectivity. The partnership aims to provide direct bus services to key destinations in Uttarakhand including Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Haldwani.

The much-awaited Noida International airport is just two months away from its inauguration. It has been making headlines for the ways it is going to benefit commuters. From expressways providing direct connectivity to airlines slated to operate from there, Jewar Airport has raised expectations regarding travel convenience. The latest addition is NIA’s partnership with Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) to provide seamless bus connectivity.

The Noida International Airport (NIA) on Friday announced that it has partnered with Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) to boost regional connectivity. The partnership aims to provide direct bus services to key destinations in Uttarakhand including Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Haldwani.

This initiative will ease travel experience, boost tourism and enhance regional connectivity. It will benefit commuters of both, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.  The bus services will provide direct and hassle-free access to key tourist destinations like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Haldwani in UttaraKhand.

Moreover, the Jewar Airport’s prime location next to the Yamuna Expressway provides exceptional road connectivity to Delhi NCR, Noida, and key hubs in Western Uttar Pradesh.

Speaking about the initiative, Managing Director (MD) of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation stated that he is proud to announce the strategic partnership with Noida International Airport. He said that this marks a transformative step towards enhancing regional connectivity between Noida and key cities like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Haldwani.

“This collaboration will seamlessly integrate air and road transport, offering a smooth, efficient travel experience for passengers. By connecting our road network with the growing air traffic, we aim to provide faster, more reliable travel options, further promoting tourism, economic growth, and convenience for all,” he added.

About Noida International Airport

Noida International airport is set to be inaugurated in April 2025. The airport will cater to residents of Noida, Greater Noida, adjoining areas, and even Delhi. Once operational, the Noida International Airport is expected to boost tourism, trade, and commerce in the NCR. The airport will ease the travel experience for people and provide greater convenience in air travel. It will offer an alternative to Delhi’s IGI Airport, allowing passengers to board international flights directly from Noida.
