Noida: In a time span of six hours, a total of 1100 people have filed applications to claim the residential plots near the Noida Internation Airpot, said officials on Tuesday.

Yamuna Development Authority launched a scheme of 1184 residential plots close to Noida International Airport on Monday, it became a total hit in just six hours. Around 1100 people have already bought the forms between 5 am to 11 am in the morning for the plots located near Noida International Airport and Film City.

1184 lucky opportunities

As per the officials of the Yamuna Development Authority, the scheme of 1184 residential plots was initially launched on August 7, 2023. While the scheme still remains open for registration, the deadline to apply for this golden opportunity is September 1, 2023. The application for the scheme will open on October 18, 2023, and will be selected by drawing lots.

The official further added this is a good chance for people who are looking forward to settling close to Noida International Airport. The scheme holds 194 plots of 120 square meters. Of these 194 plots, 34 plots will be given to farmers under a 17 per cent quota along with 10 plots specifically for entrepreneurs with functional industries.

Farmer to get 206 plots

As per the information, 24 plots have a size of 500 square metres. Of these 24 plots, 4 plots have been engaged for farmers and a single plot is reserved for entrepreneurs. There are 13 plots of one thousand square meters. Out of these 13 plots, 2 plots are reserved for farmers and one plot for entrepreneurs. In addition, 19 plots of two thousand square meters, 3 plots will be assigned to farmers and 1 plot for entrepreneurs.

In a similar way, out of a total of 1,184 plots, 206 plots have been booked for farmers and 59 plots for entrepreneurs. Individuals belonging to SC-ST need not pay the registration fee.
