New Delhi: The common man has once again been hit by inflation. After Amul, Mother Dairy has increased the prices of full cream milk and cow’s milk in Delhi-NCR. Mother Dairy has increased the price by Rs 2 per litre.
In a statement issued by Mother Dairy, it has been said that the prices of only full cream and cow’s milk variants have been increased by Rs 2 per liter. So while Verka has also increased the price of milk in Punjab, Verka has increased the price by Rs 2 per kg. The increased milk rates have come into effect from today. But Amul has not increased the price of milk in Gujarat.

Mother Dairy spokesperson said that this decision has been taken in view of the continuous increase in the prices of raw materials for the last two months. In a statement issued in the media, he said, “Dairy industry has seen a steady increase in the prices of raw milk.”

With this hike, the price of full cream milk has increased from Rs 61 per liter to Rs 63 per litre. Earlier in August, the famous milk brand cited increase in input cost and increased milk prices by Rs 2 per litre.
