Greater Noida: In a piece of promising news for residents near the Noida International Airport in Jewar, job opportunities are set to come closer to home.
Construction work for 1525 industries across 6 industrial sectors near the airport is scheduled to commence soon, potentially providing direct and indirect employment to approximately 2.5 lakh individuals.
The Yamuna Authority has already released the registration list for plots before the construction of these industries, with 645 entrepreneurs having completed the lease deed process for their plots.

The majority of lease deeds, totaling 564 plots, have been allotted in Sector-32. The Yamuna Authority is presently developing six industrial sectors, including Sectors 24, 24A, 29, 32, 33, and 28, and has been allotting plots to both domestic and foreign companies looking to set up their ventures.
By July 31, 2023, the Yamuna Authority has allotted 2925 plots of various sizes across these six sectors for industrial setups. Out of these, 44 plots in Sector-29 and 29 plots in Sector-33 have already undergone the lease deed process.
With the construction work set to commence shortly, it is expected that once these companies become operational, approximately 2.5 lakh people will find employment opportunities within the next six months.
