Weather updates Delhi-NCR: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rainfall in several parts of Delhi-NCR till August 6. Moderate light rainfall has been predicted in parts of Delhi and its adjoining areas from August 4-6.

According to IMD, a moderate light rain is likely to drench Delhi-NCR on August 3 and it will continue till August 6. This will bring the temperature down to 27.9 degree from 36.2 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 36.2 degree. It is 2 degrees above the normal notch of the temperature. The minimum temperature on Wednesday was registered at 27.9 degree which is also above the normal temperature. Humidity in the air was recorded in between 64-80 per cent.

It is forecasted that the city will be under the dark rain cloud and light rain is also expected. The temperature may be plunged by 2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature on Thursday can down to 35 degrees and the minimum can slip to 25 degrees Celsius. IMD has issued yellow alert in the Delhi-NCR regions.

It is expected that Delhi-NCR will see light and moderate rain from August 4 to August 5. The maximum temperature will plunge to 33 degrees and the minimum temp will drop 25 degrees. This will bring relief from sultry heat and exasperating humidity. It is predicted that Delhi-NCR will see light rain on August 7 and August 8. The maximum temperature may reach to 36 degrees and the minimum temperature may hit the 27 on August 7, 8.

According to IMD, Odisha and Chhattisgarh are likely to get heavy rainfall on Thursday while Madhya Pradesh is expected to get rain today.
