Delhi Pollution: Delhi residents woke up to rain amid ‘moderate’ air quality. The AQI was recorded at 169 on Thursday at 6 am, according to the CPCB. The air quality in the national capital has witnessed significant improvement. The improvement comes after it remained in the ‘poor’ category for several days. Higher ventilation index, strong wind speeds along with favourable meteorological conditions have helped in dispersion of pollutants, providing temporary relief to the Delhiites.

Weather Forecast For Delhi
There have been changes in weather pattern of Delhi this week. The Days have started to get warmer with maximum temperature reaching 26 to 28 degrees Celsius. While the days have turned milder, mist continues to persist. The maximum and minimum temperatures over Delhi are in the range of 27 to 29°C and 11 to 12°C respectively.

Also, due to the effect of active Western Disturbance, Delhi’s weather has witnessed slight shifts. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain for today. The sky will remain generally cloudy with little drizzle in parts of the city. The rain will not have much effect in temperature, and the cold is not expected to linger as maximum temperature has been predicted 28°C in coming days.

Rain is expected to bring respite from the deteriorating air quality levels. According to the Air Quality Early Warning System For Delhi, the air quality is likely to be in the moderate category from 20 to 21 February. While for the next six days, it is expected to remain in ‘poor’ to ‘moderate’ category.
