This edition promises to be bigger and better, with more than 350 flower entries and over 40 vendors. The event will begin a day before the show with judging and the opening ceremony, followed by various performances. The second day will feature flower arrangements, cut blooms, vegetable sculptures, and a fusion band performance.
Horticulture specialists will offer gardening tips, present awards, and perform Indian cultural dances on the penultimate day. The last day will include a flash painting competition, an award distribution ceremony, a closing ceremony with a laser show, and a Kavi Sammelan.
Flowers on display will include alyssum, aster, brachycome, calendula, dianthus, gazania, larkspur, marigold, nasturtium, nemesia, Californian poppy, salvia, stock, verbena, and viola. Over 80 stalls will be set up by nurseries and businesses selling gardening tools, pottery, manure, and other horticultural essentials.
In addition to the flower displays, the festival will feature seminars for schoolchildren on planting techniques and converting kitchen waste into compost. Various food kiosks will complement the spirit of nature, and there will also be street plays addressing social issues.
According to Vandana Tripathi, the Chief Executive of the Noida Authority, significant efforts have been made to ensure the event runs smoothly. Invitations have been sent to schools, corporate offices, colleges, and resident welfare associations (RWAs), and large-scale arrangements are being made to ensure the event’s success.
