Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday evening, he met Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray at the latter’s residence.
Kejriwal is on a nationwide tour to meet opposition leaders to assure support for the Aam Aadmi Party’s fight against centre government ordinance.
Earlier last week, the Centre brought an ordinance to nullify the Supreme Court verdict, which allowed the elected government in the national capital to control matters related to services.
Bihar’s CM Nitish Kumar, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray have extended their support to the Aam Aadmi party against the Centre’s move to bring an ordinance.
