Bengaluru is known as hub for startups and an auto driver’s initiative has proved it right. A picture of an auto driver, identified as Samuel Christy has been shared on Reddit. But, what has captured attention is not his picture, but a poster put up by him in his auto. The picture of the poster displayed behind driver’s seat was shared by a passenger.
What Did He Pitch?
In the poster, Samuel has asked funds for his startup. He wrote, “Hi passenger, my name is Samuel Christy. I’m a graduate who is looking to raise funds for my startup business idea. If you’re interested, please talk to me.” The photo has been shared with caption “Yet another Peak Bengaluru moment!”
Samuel has proved the quote, “It’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen” by his action.
How Did Users React?
His photo has received mixed response from the users. A user wrote, “I think it’s a great effort. Hope he is doing something good and hope he succeeds!”
Another added, “If someone is interested in making a startup, I’d worry about the idea, not about the grammar.”
Users offered him help and wrote, “If he’s interested, I could help him for a price” and “We can help him start his entrepreneurial journey.”
While some users appreciated the efforts of driver others pointed out at potential scam. One user wrote, “This could be a scam too, the auto drivers are biggest scamster in Bengaluru few years back there was an auto guy who used to find daily near my office in Koramangala.”
