Agra Urine incident: A video from Uttar Pradesh’s Agra showing a man urinating on an injured person lying unconscious on the ground and kicking him on his head has gone viral on social media on Monday.

In the 30-second of video, the man and his friend can be heard abusing the victim. The incident is similar to the Madhya Pradesh Urination case that sparked outrage across the country.

As soon as the video went viral the police swung into action and arrested the accused. The police informed that the video is around 4 months old.

Suraj Kumar Rai, Deputy commissioner of police, informed that one accused is arrested and search for the others is underway.

The police officer further said, “After investigating, the police found that there was no complaint lodged by the victim at any police station in Agra in this regard. Later, it was found that the video was three-four months old and the youth has been identified as Aditya.”

In a statement on twitter, He cleared that the police took cognizance immediately after the video of the incident went viral.

Accused Aditya was arrested and booked under the section of 307 (attempt to murder) and other provision of IPC.

“We are investigating the matter and the search of other youth who were involved in the incidents is underway. The arrested accused will soon be presented before the court and proper legal action will be taken against him,” Rai informed.
