Stock Market Opening: There is a declining trend in the Indian domestic stock market even today amid mixed signals from the international and American markets. Even today, for the third consecutive day, both Sensex and Nifty are showing weakness. The trading in the stock market started on the green mark. Sensex opened with a gain of 33 points and Nifty by 20 points. It slid down as soon as the market opened. At present, the Sensex is trading down by 101.59 points at the level of 59,643.39 points while the Nifty is down by 21.65 points at the level of 17,532.65 points.
Earlier, on the last trading day Wednesday (22 February 2023) too, the Indian stock market had closed with a heavy fall. The Sensex closed at 59,744, down 927 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,554, down 272 points. There was an all-round decline in the market on Wednesday. In which banking, metals and IT were at the forefront.
