Share Market status: The impact of the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate hike is being felt globally on the stock market. Following this, the Indian stock market was closed for three days in a row. Both the Sensex and the Nifty are currently in a bearish trend. Today, the Sensex and Nifty are trading in the red. Today’s trading began with a 148-point drop in the Sensex and a 46-point drop in the Nifty. Today, investors focused on profit booking from the start.

Share Market status: The Indian stock market opened with a red mark on Thursday, the fourth day of this trading week. Today, the 30-share Sensex on the BSE opened at 62,530, down 148 points, while the Nifty on the NSE opened at 18,614, down 46 points.

On the other hand, the Indian stock market was up for the third consecutive day on the last trading day, Wednesday (December 14, 2022). The Sensex closed at 62,677 points, up 144 points. The Nifty gained 52 points to close at 18,660 points. On Wednesday, 21 of the 30 Sensex stocks rose. At the same time, nine stocks fell.

When it comes to today’s rising shares, many companies, including NTPC, SBI Life Insurance, Britannia Industries, IndusInd Bank, and ONGC, are experiencing a surge.

Many companies are experiencing share price declines, including Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank, and Titan Company.

The rupee begins the day with a 20-paise gain against the dollar

This week, on the fourth day of trading today, the rupee opened with weakness against the dollar in the foreign exchange market. In early trade today, the rupee opened at 82.64 against the US dollar, down 18 paise. Earlier, on Wednesday, the third day of the previous trading week, the rupee rose 35 paise to close at 82.46 per dollar.

Wednesday (14 December): The Sensex closed at 62,677 points with a fall of 144 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,660 points with a softening of 52 points.

Tuesday (13 December): The Sensex closed at 62,533 points with a gain of 402 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,608 points with a jump of 110 points.

Monday (12 December): The Sensex closed at 62,130 points with a fall of 51 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,497 points with a gain of 0.5 points.

Friday (December 9): The Sensex closed at 62,181 points with a fall of 389 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,496 points with a softening of 112 points.

Thursday (8 December): The Sensex closed at 62,570 points with a gain of 160 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,609 points with a gain of 48 points.
