SBI: Not Passbook, Only Aadhaar Card Required For These Special Schemes, Hurry Up!

SBI Special Schemes: State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced many facilities for its customers, streamlining banking services further. The bank has recently announced that enrollment in several social security schemes can now be completed solely through the Aadhaar card, eliminating the need for a passbook. This change simplifies the registration process significantly.

Customers visiting SBI’s Customer Service Centers (CSP) can now complete registration using only their Aadhaar card. The bank’s advanced system expedites the process, rendering it much more convenient than before. The customer service centre kiosks offer seamless transaction facilities, allowing customers to access these social security schemes by presenting their Aadhaar card.

Dinesh Khara, Chairman of SBI, emphasized that their goal is to eliminate obstacles to financial security access. The bank is committed to extending the benefits of financial social security to those who need it most.

One of the schemes available is the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, an insurance scheme targeted towards individuals aged 18 to 50. The scheme allows investments of up to two lakh rupees, with an annual premium of Rs 436. The premium can be conveniently auto-debited from the account, simplifying the payment process for participants.
