New Delhi: When the festive season is round the corner, Odisha government has announced a massive hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for the state government employees. The latest notification, issued by the government, said that the employees of state government will be given a 3 percent increase in the DA.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday approved the proposal for hike in the dearness allowance for the state government employees.
With the latest increment, the Dearness Allowance of the employees has jumped to 34 percent from existing 31 percent. The increase will be applicable from January 1, 2022, as per the Odisha government notification.
