According to Hurun’s Global Richest person List, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), is the only Indian conglomerate to feature in the list of the world’s top 10 richest person list.

The current report is compiled by research platform Hurun in coordination with M3M, a real-estate group, which mentioned that Mukesh Ambani is the 9th richest person in the world with a net worth of $82 billion.

According to Hurun’s report, Gautam Adani has lost Rs 3,000 crore every week last year, his net worth stood at $53 billion.

Adani has lost 2nd Asia’s richest person position to China’s Zhong Shanshan. Since the Us short-seller Hindenburg published a report in January pertaining to the Adani group, shares of Adani group’s companies shrinked sharply. Just before the Hindenburg report, Adani was the third richest person.
