New Delhi: Gujarat, the home state of Prime minister Narendra Modi will host the next round of G20 meetings from March 27 to April 4, an official said.

India is currently holding the year-long presidency of a group of the top 20 economies of the world (G20). The group comprises 19 countries and the European Union.

According to officials, The next three upcoming events will be organised in Gandhinagar between 27 and 29 March and commence with a meeting on Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group (ECSWG).

On March 28, a technical session will take place on climate resilient infrastructure, groundwater management, water sanitation and hygiene, climate change and resource efficiency, officials said.

Technical sessions will take place on topics related to oceans, sustainable blue economy, conservation of marine and coastal eco-system and marine spatial planning among others on March 29, officials added.

In The second series of meetings, a discussion on  “Disaster Management” will be held in Gandhinagar from March 30 to April 1.
