Gold Price Today: Even after Dhanteras and Diwali, the price of gold and silver continues to decline. Gold has dropped to about Rs 29000 per 10 kilos. Today, silver declined by Rs 377 per kilogramme, while gold became cheaper by Rs 278 every 10 grammes.

Following this decline, gold is currently selling for Rs. 50300 and silver for about Rs. 57000. Silver is currently roughly Rs 23000 cheaper per kg than it was at its all-time high, and gold is currently Rs 5900 cheaper per 10 grammes.

Status updates of Gold and Silver on IBJA

The Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) reports that on Monday, October 31, the first day of this trading week, gold prices decreased by Rs 201 per ten kilos and opened at Rs 50301 per ten grammes. While gold also became cheaper on Friday’s final trading day, falling by Rs 277 per ten kilos to settle at Rs 50502.

On the other hand, today’s opening price for silver was Rs 57042 per kg, down Rs 377 from yesterday. Silver was cheaper by Rs 221 and finished at Rs 57419 per kilogramme on Friday, the last trading day.

Silver and Gold Prices on the MCX

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold is trading with a bullish trend in contrast to the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) (MCX). Gold’s price on the MCX increased by Rs 20 today, reaching Rs 50,250. While silver is currently down Rs 130, trading at a level of Rs 57,350.

From all-time highs, gold 5900 and silver 23000 rupees are becoming less expensive

Compared to its all-time high, gold is currently selling for around Rs 5899 per 10 grammes less. August 2020 became the highest point in gold’s history. At that time, the price of gold had increased to Rs 56,200 for 10 kilos. Silver was also declining in price at a rate of roughly Rs 22938 per kilogramme from its peak. Silver is now priced at Rs. 79980 per kilogramme. In such a scenario, people who intend to purchase gold or silver may find that this presents a favourable time to do so.

Price of 14 to 24 carat gold

Accordingly, the current price for 10 grammes of 24 carat gold is Rs. 50301, for 10 grammes of 23 carat gold, Rs. 50100, for 10 grammes of 22 carat gold, Rs. 46076, for 10 grammes of 18 carat gold, Rs. 37726, and for 10 kilos of 14 carat gold, approx. Rs. 29426.

Gold and silver are currently trading with a decline on the worldwide market, similar to the Indian bullion market. Gold is currently selling for US$1,642.10 per ounce, down US$1.49. Silver, on the other hand, is currently selling at a lower level at $ 19.13 per ounce, down $ 0.09.
