Gold Price Today 8 May 2023: Gold on Monday saw a big fall in price and dropped to the rate of Rs 61,108 per 10 grams while silver is available at the rate of Rs 76,231 per kg after the fall. This is the second consecutive day when gold has become cheaper.
Gold-silver on IBJA
According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Monday (8 May 2023), gold (Gold Price Today) became cheaper by Rs 388 per ten grams and is trading at Rs 61108 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Friday, gold became cheaper by Rs 150 and closed at Rs 61496 per 10 grams.
On Monday, along with gold, the price of silver also declined. Today silver is trading at a level of Rs 76231 per kg with a fall of Rs 1049. While silver had become costlier by Rs 816 and closed at Rs 77280 per kg on Friday.
Gold slips by Rs 500 and silver by Rs 3700 from all-time high
With this boom, gold is being sold cheaper by about Rs 538 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Significantly, gold made its all-time high of Rs 61646 per ten grams on 4 May 2023. On the other hand, silver is getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of about Rs 2700 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.
14 to 24 Carat rate
In this way, on Monday, 24 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 61108 per 10 gram, 23 carat gold by Rs 60864 per 10 gram, 22 carat gold by Rs 55974 per 10 gram, 18 carat gold by Rs 45831 per 10 gram and 14 carat gold by approx. Is trading at the level of Rs 35748 per 10 grams.
Gold-silver in international market
Unlike the Indian bullion market, gold and silver are trading fast in the international market today. In the US market, gold was trading higher by $ 5.77 at $ 2,021.69 an ounce and silver was down by $ 0.03 at $ 25.67 an ounce.
