Gold Price Today, 2 January 2023: on IBJA

According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the first business day of the first week of this year, on Monday (January 2), gold became costlier by Rs 246 per ten grams and crossed the Rs 55,000 mark. Doing business at the level of Rs 55113 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Friday, gold became costlier by Rs 216 and closed at Rs 54867 per 10 grams.

Like the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold and silver are trading at a fast pace today on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). On MCX, gold is costlier by Rs 103 at Rs 55,120, while silver is trading at Rs 69,650 with a gain of Rs 237.

Gold down by Rs 1,200 and silver by Rs 11400 from all-time high

At present, gold is being sold cheaper than its all-time high by Rs 1265 per 10 grams. Gold made its all-time high in August 2020. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 56,200 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver was getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 111460 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg. In such a situation, for those who are planning to buy gold or silver, this can prove to be a good buying opportunity.

14 to 24 Carat Gold Price

Thus, on Monday, the price of 24 carat gold rose to Rs 55113 per 10 grams, 23 carat gold to Rs 54892 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold to Rs 50484 per 10 grams, 18 carat gold to Rs 41335 per 10 grams and 14 carat gold to approx. Is trading at the level of Rs 32241 per 10 grams.
