Gold Price Today 18 May 2023: Gold on Thursday witnessed a fall of Rs 134 per 10 gram and reached to the rate of Rs Rs 60512 per 10 grams. while Silver registered a fall rs 63 and slipped to the rate of Rs 71745 per kg. This decline has brought a big cheer among buyers as this downfall reduced the burden on their pocket.
Gold-silver on IBJA
According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Thursday (18 May 2023), gold (Gold Price Today) became cheaper by Rs 134 per ten grams and is trading at Rs 60512 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Wednesday, gold had become cheaper by Rs 420 and closed at Rs 60646 per 10 grams.
On Thursday, along with gold, the price of silver also declined. Today silver has become cheaper by Rs 63 and is trading at Rs 71745 per kg. Whereas on the last trading day on Wednesday, silver had become cheaper by Rs 122 and closed at Rs 7180 per kg.
Gold and silver rates on MCX
Like the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold and silver are still trading with a decline on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). On MCX, gold is trading cheaper by Rs 33 per 10 grams at Rs 60,112, while silver is trading cheaper by Rs 218 at Rs 72,440 per kg.
Gold slips by Rs 1,100 and silver by Rs 8,200 from all-time high
With this boom, gold is selling cheaper by about Rs 1134 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Significantly, gold made its all-time high of Rs 61646 per ten grams on 4 May 2023. Whereas silver is getting cheaper at the rate of Rs 8235 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.
14 to 24 Carat
Thus on Thursday, 24 carat is being sold at the rate of Rs 60512 per 10 grams, 23 carat gold at Rs 60270 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold at Rs 55429 per 10 grams, 18 carat gold at Rs 45384 per 10 grams and 14 carat gold is trading at the rate of Rs 35400 per 10 grams.
Gold-silver in international market
Like the Indian bullion market, even today gold and silver are trading with a decline in the international market. In the US market, gold declined by $ 2.41 to trade at $ 1,980.16 an ounce, while silver declined by $ 0.10 to trade at $ 23.65 an ounce.
