A letter was also released by the Alliance Air. This is what was stated in the letter:

You all are aware that Alliance Air is a Government of India undertaking, where
decisions with large financial impact are taken with the concurrence of the
Board.

Even though the entire industry is facing the financial turbulence due to
ongoing repercussions of Covid-19, Alliance Air has been paying the salaries on 1*
of every month.

The ‘Retention Bonus’ promised has already been paid in August 22 in spite of
the company suffering operational losses.

Let us assure you once again that the management is proactively working to
resolve and re-instate the pre-Covid19 salaries on priority; as employees’ welfare
has always been our top priority.

In these difficult times the continued support and cooperation of all the
employees is solicited to keep the company afloat.
