Crypto prices today: Majority of cryptocurrencies failed to gain ground on Monday. It can be considered as good time to invest in crypto. People who are interested in taking risk in market against all odds can invest in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, was trading at $16,722.13, down 0.23 percent in the last 24 hours. The second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, had dropped by 0.74 percent and was worth $1,181.75. Other leading coins, such as XRP, fell by 4.02 percent, Cardano by 1.22 percent, Polygon by 1.77 percent, and Litecoin by 3.54 percent.
Toncoin, Monero, and Cosmos, on the other hand, gained 4.74 percent, 0.60 percent, and 0.31 percent, respectively, and were trading at $2.69, $144.72, and $8.83.
According to Coinmarketcap data, the global crypto market fell 0.58 percent from the previous day to $807.46 billion today, while total crypto market volume fell 12.69 percent to $22.57 billion.

XDC Network and Toncoin were among the top gainers on Monday, rising by 5.30 percent and 4.74 percent, respectively, while XRP, NEAR Protocol, and Zilliqa fell by 4.02 percent, 3.94 percent, and 3.65 percent, respectively.
Meme coins down
Popular meme coins also suffered losses on Monday. Dogecoin fell 2.44 percent and was worth $0.07756, while Shiba Inu fell 3.26 percent and was worth $0.000008521. (at the time of writing).
Crypto prices today: Metaverse tokens in red
Top metaverse tokens were losing money. Apecoin fell 0.15 percent, The Sandbox fell 3.21 percent, Axie Infinity fell 1.25 percent, and Decentraland fell 2.75 percent.
