New Delhi: After Indigo, on Tuesday, Air India made a big deal to buy new aircraft at the ongoing air show in Paris. Tata-owned Air India placed an order to buy 250 Airbus aircraft and 220 new Boeing jets from Airbus for an investment of 70 billion dollars.
Air India announced the news through Twitter and wrote, “Happy to share that we have signed purchase agreements with @Airbus and @Boeing Aeroplanes at the Paris Air Show today to add 470 new aircraft to enhance our fleet strength! Air India is committed to playing its part in building New India.”

Airline company Indigo placed an order for 500 Airbus A320 family aircraft on Monday. The order will be delivered to the airline between 2030 and 2035. This 500-aircraft order is not only IndiGo’s largest order but also the largest single aircraft order ever purchased by any airline with Airbus.
