New Delhi: Adani Airports, part of the Gautam Adani group of companies, will bid for more airports as it has the ambition to become the leading airport operator in India. 

When the last time, the government of India concluded a bid for the privatisation of airports, Adani Airports won the bid to operate six airports. 

As per media reports, the government of India is planning to privatise about a dozen more airports in the coming years.

Adani Airports currently hold operations at Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram airports.
