Hyundai has fully unveiled its new Creta EV in a new trailer. The vehicle has been fully disclosed and its stand out features have been unveiled as well. The styling of the vehicle is very much similar to that of the Hyundai ICE version of Creta. But the new EV version would have active flaps that probably have been added to keep the motor cool under heavy use. Here are all the features that have been disclosed by Hyundai.
Driving Range
Hyundai has disclosed the driving range of the vehicle. As per Hyundai upon a full charge the vehicle would be ale to drive for 473 km (ARAI Tested Figure). While there was no mention of the battery pack of the vehicle, a small warning in the bottom read that the figures have been reported as per ARAI review for a 51.4 kwh battery pack. Hyundai further showcases the prowess of the vehicle and shows how it can easily achieve the speeds of 100kmp in 7.9 seconds.
Active Flaps
The trailer also showcases how the new EV version of Creta would have active flaps. The new cool feature has likely been added to the vehicle for better cooling of the battery packs as well as the Motor in the vehicle. The list does not end here the vehicle would also have driving mode selectors that would provide the driver with the ability to choose between different driving modes such as Normal, Sport and Eco. The vehicle also has touchless entry accessed with your smart phone
Vehicle To Load Functionality
Beyond all of the other functions one of the most useful feature would the availability of Vehicle to load feasibility. Now users would be able to use their car as a source of electricity and charge as well as use the electricity to power other appliances. In the video it can be seen that the V2L is being used to charge a laptop.
Stock Mounted Gear Selector a panoramic Sunroof
Beyond the above mentioned features the car also has stock mounted gear selector knob as well as a panoramic Sunroof. Towards the end of the trailer Hyundai showcases the vehicle off-roading, while they have not revealed any details about the vehicles off-roading prowess. The Vehicle has a all new electric badging that is etched on the steering wheel as well.
What Wasn’t Disclosed
While Hyundai has disclosed all the necessary details about the car, they have not yet showcased what kind of charging the car would support. Having a 51.4 KWH battery pack the vehicle would have a long charging time over the normal Ac charger. Plus Hyundai has not yet revealed about different variants that the Creta EV would have and how many of them would be able to attain charge through DC fast chargers.
