As per a recent leak, an EV version Test Mule of the Nexon was seen being transported along with sacks of Onions. The images captured on the highway have gone viral and have become the new subject matter for critique. “Does Tata Now Sell Onions” Said user on The Internet The test mule was spotted by a Auto Enthusiast Karan Dogra, Near Dhule.

The Unusual Sighting

Often Test Mules are spotted while being driven under heavy camouflage for collecting Data. But in a recent turn of events the new Nexon was seen amongst bags of onions. The vehicle did look in kind of a dilapidated state and covered with dust.

Speculations Regarding The Sighting

Beyond all the social media critique that the vehicle is being subjected to, its hard to establish whether the vehicle is a test mule for the TGDI variant of the Nexon or the Nexon Racer edition. Several media outlets have speculated that the vehicle might be the test mule for the new 1.2 Litre TGDI engine that has been seen on the Tata Curvv. Tata Might be planning to offer the Nexon with A new engine option.

No publicity is bad Publicity, should be the ideology that Tata goes ahead with. Whether the vehicle is a TGDI Powered new variant or just a simple test mule which suffered a breakdown and had to be transported in such a manner is yet to be found out.

The new Nexon variant might launch soon with the other Launches that TATA has been planning at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Apart from the Nexon here are the other launches that are expected from Tata in 2025.

Tata Harrier EV

The vehicle has been spotted testing by many enthusiasts and as per the vista’s it has been established- That the vehicle might have a dual motor setup, individual motors would power both the axels. The vehicle would also have a upgraded terrain response mode for better off-Roading Capabilities. The car would also have different modes for different terrains, this would allow the vehicle to have a better driving ability over bad roads and different kind of terrains.

Tata Sierra EV

Tata has been in the talks of reimagining and bringing a newer variant of the Sierra for a long time. But now it seems that the brand would launch a EV version of the vehicle first than a ICE variant as well. The powertrain as well as the battery pack of the vehicle are still to be disclosed, no information has been released about them as of yet. Its possible that the vehicle might have the same powertrain as that of the Harrier EV. While the battery specifications remains to be undisclosed the vehicle is being expected to have a driving range of around 500 km.
