Affordable cars have been in perennial demand in the Indian car market. And over the years the need for smaller more affordable SUV’S has become evident. With such aim manufacturers have been planning to launch some of the best cars under Rs 9 Lakh in the Indian Market. Here is a list of all the vehicles that we might get launched in India.
Tata Tigor and Tata Tiago Facelift
The Tigor and Tiago have been some of the highest selling products in the Tata Clan. But with new entrants from the competitors these vehicles appear dated and have lost their charm. Considering that Tata would soon launch a new facelift for the Tata Tiago as well as the Tigor. As per reports the car would get completely new cosmetic changes with a new front fascia as well as new bumpers. Its possible that the vehicles might get a refreshed interiors, that would allow the vehicle to seem more sharper and appealing than before. Both the vehicles might get add on features such as ventilated seats, a 360 degree camera and a bigger infotainment screen as well. There is a high possibility that the vehicle might be showcased at the current Bharat Mobility Expo.
Maruti Hustler
In the recent past there had been sighting of a new Suzuki sub compact SUV being tested. As per the sighting its possible that the vehicle ight be powered by a 1.2 litre engine that we have seen in the Swift and Dzire. Suzuki has revealed no plans regarding the launch of the Hustler, but its possible considering the increasing sales of the sub compact cars that Suzuki might launch the vehicle. Its possible that to further increase the sales that Suzuki might add features such as a ventilated seats and a 360 degree camera in the car as well. If launched the car would compete against the likes of Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter and Citroen C 3.
MG Yep
The Mg Yep would be a new approach of MG to offer a more affordable offering in the Indian Market. The Yep would be the rebadged version of the Baojun plus. The vehicle is based on the MG’s GEV platform on which the new comet is based on. The yep could be a affordable EV that MG can bring into the market to compete against the likes of Tata Punch and Tiago EV. The car would have a 28.1 KWH battery pack that would allow the vehicle to get an approx. driving range of around 400km. MG has been planning a few launches and most probably the car would be the amongst the possible launches at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
The Sub Compact SUV Segment
The SUV has become the go to choice of the Indian consumer. Manufacturers have been planning to bring in new launches that would allow them to grasp a bigger part of the market. New cars such as the Yep and Hustler and The new Tiago have all been aimed at such objectives.
