Honda has Unveiled two new vehicles at the CES 2025. One being a SUV and the other being a Saloon. While these have are pre-production concepts the vehicles would soon go into production in America later this year. The vehicle would later be made available to the normal users in the global markets in next year. Apart from the two cars Honda has also revealed the ASIMO operating system for its vehicles. The operating system would be used in all the Honda O Series Model.
These vehicles would use a new dedicated EV platform from Honda. This platform would be different than the previous platforms that powered by cars such as the Honda Prologue electric car. These two cars mark the initiation of Honda’s program to launch 30 new electric cars which car makers plan to launch in the global markets by the end of this decade.
Honda 0 Series Saloon
This vehicle is a Saloon prototype that is set for launch in 2026. The vehicle features a design ideology quite unlike any other vehicle that Honda currently produces. The car has sleek lines with a low stance. The vehicle would have some of the most advanced features with possible autonomous driving abilities that would allow the vehicle to drive without the inputs of the driver. Beyond that the vehicle would also have the ability to be optimized as per the use of a single driver through ASIMO OS.
Honda 0 Series SUV
Honda had previously showcased a Space- Hub concept in 2024 at CES. The car follows the same ideology as that of the Saloon. The concept would emphasize the idea of EV as a adaptable space that can be converted as per the needs of the user.
Asimo OS
Both the vehicles in the 0 family would utilize the Asmio OS, a operating system that would allow the vehicle to be customized as per the use of the driver. The ASIMO operating system has been based on the ASIMO humanoid robot.
Originally the Humanoid was built tp navigate society autonomously. ASIMO has been a integral part of Honda’s robotics team. Honda has been a pioneer in the robotics development and has continued to advance their environmental recognition and autonomous behavior technologies that respond to Human intent..
