Due to this, BMW is getting help in expanding its portfolio, as well as the company has also entered a new segment, due to which its sales have increased. The 310 cc platform with a trellis frame is manufactured by TVS in India.
Three BMW bikes are produced on this platform, which includes the G 310 R Street Bike, G 310 GS Adventure Bike and G 310 RR Sports. However, TVS manufactures only one motorcycle based on this platform. This bike is the Apache RR 310, which is a fully faired sports machine.

According to a media report, TVS is soon going to launch a street motorcycle based on the BMW G 310 R. The new TVS motorcycle will be based on the BMW G 310 R. According to the sources, the testing of this bike has started at MMRT Race Track, Chennai. Because TVS already makes this BMW bike.
That’s why very little change is expected to be seen in it. However, there may be some changes in the exterior design. The price of this bike is expected to be less than the BMW bike, whose ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 2.8 lakhs. According to experts, the price of TVS Apache R310 can be around Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
Features
Considering its estimated price, it is expected to lack a lot of features. In this bike, we are expected to get many features equipped with smart Xonex connectivity.
How will the engine be?
The new TVS motorcycle will also get the Smart XConnect connected feature through a dedicated app, which is not available on the BMW G 310 R. It will get the same 312.2cc single-cylinder 4V engine as the BMW G 310 R, which produces 33.5 bhp power and 27.3 Nm torque, which is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox.

Will it compete with the KTM 390 Duke?
The KTM 390 Duke is a street bike, which gets a 373.27cc BS6 engine. This engine produces 42.9 bhp power and 37 Nm torque. Its ex-showroom price is ₹ 2,95,145.
