New Delhi: The Tata Nexon recently received a price hike of up to Rs 18,000. In addition, they revised the list of variants. Some variants of the Nexon SUV have been discontinued by Tata Motors as part of the company’s aim to regularly update its product line. Variants
New variants XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (L), XZ+ (P), XZA+ (HS), XZA+ (L) and XZA+ (P) were introduced for the Nexon (P) to replace the discontinued variants. The primary difference between these variations is the set of features included. They are identical in every way to the original Tata Nexon and no extra features have been added to these new models.
Informational and practical features distinguish the HS, L and P variants of the ZX+ and ZXA+. Features including iRA connectivity platform, live vehicle diagnostics, smartphone-based remote control, driving analysis, service mode, current vehicle location and geo-fencing are not available on the Nexon ZXA+ (HS). Both ZXA+ (L) and ZXA+ (P) versions provide these options.
The ZXA+ (L) also lacks a tilting motorized sunroof. Both ZXA+ (HS) and ZXA+ (P) versions are available to you. The ZXA+ (HS) does not include wireless charging or ventilated leather seats for the driver and front passenger. Both ZXA+ (L) and ZXA+ (P) versions provide these options.
Engine
A 1.2 liter turbo petrol or a 1.5 liter turbo diesel engine is available for the Nexon SUV. The petrol power unit produces 120 hp and 170 Nm, the diesel engine develops 110 hp and 260 Nm. Both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions are compatible with both engines.
Electronic stability control, electronic traction control, engine immobilizer, hill control, reverse parking assist with ultrasonic sensors and camera (dynamic guideways), rollover mitigation, follow me home warning lights and tire pressure monitoring system are all standard gear. models of the Nexon series.
A five-star safety rating from Global NCAP adds to the excellent public perception of the Tata Nexon. How well the SUV fares in the newly introduced NCAP global crash test regulations remains to be seen.
