An updated version of the Tata Safari EV was spotted undergoing testing some time ago, built on the Acti.ev platform.
The new Safari EV will have a design similar to the current Safari, but with some expected modifications. Changes will include a new grille, alloy wheels, and cosmetic updates to the interior, featuring a 10.25-inch display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen system.
For safety, the Safari EV will feature blind spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and six airbags. The new Safari EV will directly compete with the upcoming Creta EV, as well as with models like the Maruti Suzuki eVX and BYD Atto 3. The price of the Electric Safari is estimated to be around Rs 30-32 lakh.
