Tata Harrier EV: India is seeing boom in electric vehicle production. People prefer electric car over petrol, diesel and CNG cars due to the exuberant fuel rates and rising climate threat. This is the reason why all the car manufacturers are also betting on EVs. In this segment, Tata has prepared the EV version of its Harrier SUV car.

As per the reports, Harrier will run for about 500 km on a single charge. The new car is built on the Tata Harrier EV Bourne Electric platform. Due to which it becomes a high speed car. It will get dual tone colour options.

Tata Harrier EV: Radar Technology

The car offers Advance Driving Assistant System (ADAS) for safety. This system works on radar technology, cameras, sensors. Actually, if the attention gets distracted while driving in the car, then this system automatically turns on and alerts the driver about the other car, person etc. in front of the car. This system prevents road accidents.

Tata Harrier EV: New Logo at rear

As per the media reports, a ‘T’ logo can be placed at the rear in the new car. It could become the new signature of Tata Motor’s EV division – Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEML). The car will get a wireless phone charging, rain-sensing wipers and panoramic sunroof.

Infotainment system

Tata Harrier EV will get 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver’s display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It gets 6-side power-adjustable driver seat with memory and welcome function.

The company will offer charging option with both normal charger and fast charger. The company has not yet shared any clear information about the price of this car and the launch date. As per the media reports, it is estimated that this car will be launched in the year 2024. A look of the car was seen at the Auto Expo 2023 for the first time.

Colours and Variants

The car will be available in Bronze and White dual-tone colour options. The connecting LED DRL strip will be found above its front grille. It will be lashed with ultra-features like rear camera, parking sensor, seat belt alert. It is expected to get 17-inch alloy wheels and boot space of 425 liters.
