New Delhi: Royal Enfield is very aggressive with its product strategy for India as well as global markets. The company recently launched the new Hunter 350, which also became the second best-selling RE model in our country.
Apart from this, RE is also working on several new bikes including the new Bullet 350, Himalayan 450 and the new 650cc cruiser & Classic. Interestingly, the new RE Continental GT 650 has been spotted with a bike fairing.
The spotted model has remote controls for the dual rear shocks. This suggests that Royal Enfield might introduce a road version of its racing bike, the GR-R 650, used in the RE Continental GT Cup. The spy shot shows that the new bike has a small front fairing with mounting points for the full fairing kit.

The current RE Continental GT 650 is heavily modified aftermarket, with most customers adding a complete fairing kit. It is expected that Royal Enfield could offer a complete fairing kit as a factory-fitted option or as an accessory. Thanks to the front fairing, the speckled model has bar-end mirrors instead of the conventional mirrors in the regular model. The wing mirrors appear to be units found in RE’s extensive accessories catalog.
The spotted model sports a Dux Deluxe color scheme and appears mechanically similar to the standard Continental GT 650. Dual rear shocks are fitted with a remote control, which is likely to be added for fine-tuning the suspension during the testing stages.

Royal Enfield is not only testing a faired motorcycle, but also testing a Continental GT 650 with alloy wheels. It is expected that RE could soon introduce an upgraded version of the existing 650cc bikes. Apart from this, RE will also launch 3 new 650cc bikes including the RE Shotgun 650, Super Meteor 650 and the new 650cc Classic.
