Ola Sales: Ola sold a total of more than 35,000 electric scooters in May. The sales number includes all the EV models of the company. Earlier in April 2023, the company had sold about 30 thousand electric scooters. 

Recently, after the reduction in the FAME-2 subsidy, the price of scooters has increased. But the company’s sales performance is doing good.

FAME-2 subsidy has been cut from June 1

According to media reports, the Bengaluru-based startup company’s market share in the electric scooter segment has increased to 30%. For a ninth consecutive month, Ola has become the largest-selling electric two-wheeler company in the country. Despite the central government has cut the FAME-2 subsidy from June 1, its sales are doing well.

Prices have increased

Following the revised subsidy, the Ola S1 Pro with the company’s 4 kWh battery pack now costs Rs 1,39,999, while the S1 with the 3 kWh battery pack costs Rs 1,29,999 and the 3 kWh Li-ion battery pack at Rs 1,29,999. Also, the price of S1 Air starts from Rs.1,09,999.

The top speed of  S1 Pro is 116 Kmph

The S1 and S1 Air pack a 3 kWh battery pack. The S1 Pro comes with a massive battery pack of 4 kWh capacity. After a single charge, it gives a driving range of up to 141 km and 125 km. The top speed of the Ola S1 Pro is 116 Kmph. This may take 6 hours to to be fully charged.
