New Delhi: TVS has lined up an update for the Raider 125 in India with a launch slated for October 19, 2022. The company also announced the launch of its metaverse TVS Motoverse platform, which will be the launch platform for the Raider. TVS has dubbed the updated bike “The Wicked Update”, in keeping with the brand’s marketing line of “The Wicked Line” used for the Raider.

TVS released a series of short teasers of the updated Raider 125 on social media. The biggest change on the bike is expected to be the technology. The teasers suggest that the bike will get a new digital instrument cluster with the brand’s SmartXonnect Bluetooth technology.

TVS Raider 125 Launch Timing

The new motorcycle will be launched today at 7 pm. The launch will take place virtually on the TVS Proprietory platform TVS Motoverse aka their Metaverse. The TVS Raider 125 is currently available in two variants – Disc and Drum. The former is priced at Rs 93,489 ex-showroom and the latter is priced at Rs 85,973 ex-showroom. Both variants are also available in four color variants – yellow, red, blue and black.

TVS Raider 125 Suspension

The suspension is taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock with 5-level adjustment for the rear wheel. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels, front and rear. The braking function is either drum brakes on both wheels or disc brakes at the front, depending on the variant.

TVS Raider 125 Features

Exterior Features and Dimensions Apart from the segment-first reverse display, the TVS Raider 125 also gets LED headlamps and tail lamps. The tank size of the Raider 125 is rated at 10 liters. The overall length of the bike is 2070 mm in length, 785 mm in width (mirror to mirror) and 1028 mm in height.

New TVS Raider 125 Engine Specifications

The engine of the top variant of the new TVS Raider 125 will remain the same. It will be powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder three-valve engine that produces 11.22 PS at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed gearbox. TVS claims that the Raider 125 can also accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 5.9 seconds.

TVS Raider 125 Launch October 19 The TVS Raider 125 was launched a year ago as the first motorcycle in the 125cc segment to feature a rear dashboard display. To be launched today, the new variant is expected to come with a new 5-inch color TFT cluster with its own TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity, which will further give you Voice Assist and Turn-By-Turn Navigation.
