Honda Dio (Rs 70, 211 – Rs 77, 712)
While Honda Activa has been a first choice for families, its younger sibling, the Dio, has also been popular among youngsters and could be found parked in college parking lots in large numbers. The TVS Scooty Pep is the most affordable scooter in India. It also happens to be the only sub-100cc scooter currently available for sale in the country. An 87.8 cc engine powers the Scooty Pep. The power mill is capable of churning out 5.4 PS and 6.5 Nm.
