1.Mini Cooper SE (Rs 53.50 lakh)

The Mini Cooper SE comes with a 32.6 kWh battery pack, producing 184 bhp and 270 Nm and offering a WLTP*-certified range of up to 270 km. The Cooper SE is capable of doing a 0-100 km sprint in 7.3 seconds. The list of features includes a multifunctional instrument display, wireless charging, a crash sensor, cornering brake control, an anti-lock braking system, dynamic stability control, and more. This electric car is priced at Rs 53.50 lakh (ex-showroom)

 

2. Volvo XC40 Recharge (Rs 56.90 lakh)

Volvo XC40 Recharge comes with a blacked-out grille, LED lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a luxurious interior featuring a panoramic sunroof, advanced infotainment, and ADAS tech. With a 78 kWh battery and dual electric motors, the Volvo XC40 makes 408 bhp and 660 Nm. The battery gets a fast charge from 10-80% in 33 minutes. The electric car, which offers an impressive range of 418 km (WLTP*), costs Rs 56.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

 

3. Volvo C40 Recharge (Rs 61.25 lakh)

The coupe sibling of the XC40 Recharge, the C40 Recharge packs the same 78 kWh battery and dual motors, however, offers a higher range of 530 km (WLTP). The electric car churns out 408 hp and 660 Nm and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds, according to Volvo. The C40 Recharge EV is capable of achieving a top speed of 180 kmph.

Furthermore, a 150 kW DC charger tops up the batteries from 0 to 100% in 27 minutes. It comes with a price tag of Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

4.BMW iX1 (Rs 66.90 lakh)

An electric version of the X1, the BMW iX1 comes equipped with a 66.4 kWh lithium-ion battery consuming 18.1 to 16.8 kWh/100 km and delivering a claimed range of 417 to 440 km (WLTP*). BMW claims that a 130 kW DC charger can top up the car from 10 to 90% in just 29 minutes. Furthermore, an 11 kW AC charger can fully charge the vehicle in 6.3 hours. The BMW iX1 gets Rs 66.90 lakh price tag (ex-showroom). 

 

5. Kia EV6 (Rs 60.95 lakh)

Based on the E-GMP platform, the Kia EV6 is offered in two variants: RWD and AWD. Powered by a 77.4 kWh battery and a rear-mounted electric motor, it offers an impressive ARAI*-rated range of up to 708 km. The list of features includes pixel LED headlights, an elongated silhouette, and a high-tech interior. 

*India adheres to the ARAI certification process, whereas Europe uses the WLTP standard in terms of the range specification.
