New Delhi: MG Motor India has released a teaser of an upcoming special edition for its Gloster SUV. This editing of the company’s Gloster SUV has been named Black Storm. In this, some cosmetic changes are expected to be made on the exterior and interior of the regular Gloster.
What will be special
MG Gloster Black Storm can be exclusively available in black color paint scheme, with which elements like front grille, alloy wheels can also be kept in black color. The Gloster gets a lot of chrome elements on the outside, but the blacked-out remedy will give it a sportier appeal. The ‘Black Storm’ badging could be given out on the front fenders or D-pillars.
Interior
The interiors of the MG Gloster get tan colored seats, with a three-tone color finish cabin with black, beige and tan. An all-black cabin can be found in the Black Storm edition with some different elements. However, whether some more features will be available in it or not, its information could not be found.
Powertrain
No mechanical changes are expected in this SUV. To give power to it, a 2.0-litre diesel engine is available, which has been used in two different ways. In which the option of 374 Nm torque with 161 PS power and 479 Nm torque with 216 PS power is available. In which 2WD and 4WD setup are available respectively. Both the engines come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
Who competes with
This SUV competes with Hyundai’s Tucson SUV, in which a diesel and a petrol engine option is available. Along with this, many modern features are also available in this car.
