Mercedes-AMG has introduced a special SL 63 Manufaktur Golden Coast Edition, limited to 100 units. This edition features a unique kalahari gold magno paint from Mercedes’ customization program, Manufaktur. It also includes matching interior highlights and various options from the Mercedes-AMG range.
Starting with the exterior, the car boasts a striking kalahari gold magno paint finish combined with the AMG Night Package Exterior and Night Package Exterior II. These packages add gloss black elements like the mirror caps, front splitter, sill cladding, and rear skirt. The chrome detailing on the nose, exhaust, and badging also features a darkened finish. Completing the look are black 21-inch forged AMG alloy wheels with kalahari gold inserts on the rim and hub caps.
The standard equipment includes the AMG Aero package, which adds flics on the wheel arches and air intakes, extra flics on the side air outlets in the rear skirt, and a diffuser panel.
Inside, the SL 63 Manufaktur Golden Coast comes with AMG Performance Seats that have power adjustment and ventilation as standard. The cabin is extensively outfitted with black nappa leather upholstery, highlighted with gold stitching and kalahari gold trim inserts.
The special edition SL 63 keeps the same mechanics, featuring a 576 bhp twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine. Power is delivered to all four wheels through Mercedes’ fully variable 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system and a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
In the Indian market, the AMG SL is offered in the lower-spec AMG SL 55 version, which has a 4.0-litre V8 engine producing 469 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.
