Maruti Suzuki is offering substantial discounts on its vehicles, making it an opportune time for those considering a New Year’s car purchase. The company recently announced a significant discount of up to Rs 2 lakh on its SUV, Maruti Jimny.
Furthering these offers, Maruti Suzuki now provides a discount of Rs 70,000 on its mid-segment models, the Maruti Celerio, and Rs 35,000 on the Maruti Eeco. Additionally, several dealerships are also providing complementary gifts and added discounts.
However, this promotional offer from Maruti excludes powerful SUVs like Brezza, Ertiga, and Dzire CNG. Instead, the company provides discounts through cashbacks, exchange bonuses, and corporate discounts. While the potent SUVs remain unaffected, a discount of Rs 40,000 is available on the recently launched hatchback, Fronx. Grand Vitara SUV is available with discounts of up to Rs 35,000, while the Ciaz and Baleno models offer discounts of up to Rs 35,000 and Rs 65,000, respectively. The popular Swift CNG variant receives a substantial exchange bonus of Rs 25,000.
Moreover, prices are expected to surge starting January 1, 2024. Maruti Suzuki is initiating these discounts as part of its New Year sales strategy. Shashank Srivastava, senior executive director (sales and marketing) at Maruti Suzuki, anticipates further sales promotions in December, highlighting the likelihood of more model-specific discounts. Considering Maruti Suzuki’s recent announcement of price hikes in the coming year, December 2023 presents a favorable window for those seeking to purchase a Maruti car.
