New Delhi: The demand for CNG vehicles has been increasing continuously for the last few years. It is also cheaper than petrol or diesel and the vehicle offers more mileage as well. However, the car becomes less powerful with a CNG kit as compared to a petrol engine. In such a situation, many people do not enjoy driving a CNG vehicle that much. However, there are some CNG vehicles in the market which offer great power. Here we are telling you about 4 such vehicles. Their price starts from Rs.6 lakhs.

Maruti Swift CNG

Maruti Suzuki has recently brought a CNG version of its Swift. It gets a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, DualJet engine, which makes 77.49 PS of power and 98.5 Nm of torque with CNG. Maruti Swift offers mileage of more than 30KM in CNG. The CNG option is offered with only the manual gearbox and two variants, VXI and ZXI. Swift price starts at Rs.5.9 Lakh. However, you will get its CNG version for Rs 7.77 lakh.

Tata Tiago iCNG

This is the cheapest CNG car from Tata Motors. The Tiago CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Revotron engine. Which gives power up to 73 PS and 95 Nm torque output on CNG. The company claims a mileage of 26.49 KM per KG in the CNG version. It is offered in four variants. Tiago CNG price starts from ₹6.30 Lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹7.82 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG

Hyundai offers its Grand i10 Nios with CNG kit. It is powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder engine, which makes 68 bhp power and 95 Nm torque in the CNG version. It comes in three variants Magna, Sportz and Asta. Its price starts from ₹ 7.16 lakh (ex-showroom) in the CNG version and goes up to ₹ 8.45 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG

This is the company’s compact sedan car. The sales of this vehicle have increased significantly with the CNG version. It gets a 1.2 liter dual jet petrol engine, which gives power of 77.49 PS and torque up to 98.5 Nm in the CNG version. Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 31.12 km/kg. The Desire CNG comes in two variants VXI and ZXI. It is priced between ₹8.23 Lakh (ex-showroom) and ₹8.91 Lakh (ex-showroom).
