It is believed that if you book it now, its delivery will be available after 6 to 8 months. According to the dealerships, the yellow, white and black color variants of the Jimny are selling more. At the same time, the Alpha variant is being liked more than its base model.
The Maruti Jimny 5-door models and the exported 3-door models are being manufactured at the company’s Gurugram facility. Maruti is targeting to manufacture around 7000 units of this SUV every month. This will meet both local and export demand.

The Jimny will be offered only with a petrol engine. It will be powered by a 4-cylinder, 1.5-litre K15B unit. This can provide power of 105PS and torque of 138Nm. For transmission, one can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed manual gearbox. Apart from this, the AllGrip four-wheel drive system will also be given in the Jimny available in India.
What will be the price of Maruti Jimny?
However, the official price of the Jimny has not been announced yet. It is expected to be launched at an initial price of Rs 10 lakh. At the same time, the price of its top model can go up to 14 lakhs. After launch, it will compete with Force Gurkha and Mahindra Thar.
