New Delhi: You must have heard two names in the sub-4 meter SUV segment, one – Maruti Suzuki Brezza and the other – Hyundai Venue. If you are confused about which car is going to be better for you, then today we are going to compare the price, engine specifications and mileage of these two cars so that you can decide for yourself whether Brezza and Venue. Which one of these vehicles is right for you?

Price

2022 Maruti Brezza car price ranges from Rs 7.99 Lakh to Rs 13.96 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). At the same time, the price of Hyundai Venue starts from Rs 7.53 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.72 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model. The price of its petrol variants is between Rs 7.53 lakh to 12.72 lakh while the price of diesel variants is between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 12.52 lakh. Diesel engine option is not available in Brezza.

Engine Specification

The Brezza gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine (103 PS/137 Nm). It gets the option of a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, the Venue is available in three engine options – 1.2-litre petrol (83 PS/114 Nm), 1.0-litre turbo petrol (120 PS/172 Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (100 PS/240 Nm). It gets the option of 5-speed MT, 6-speed IMT, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed MT.

Mileage

Brezza (MT) – can give mileage of up to 20.15 kmpl while Brezza (AT) can give mileage of up to 19.8 kmpl. On the other hand, Hyundai Venue can offer mileage of 17.5 kmpl to 23.4 kmpl. Being a diesel engine, it gets a chance to lead in mileage. That is, if its diesel engine option is taken, then the Venue is beating in terms of mileage.

Features

Brezza gets 9-inch infotainment system, sunroof, arcmi tuned sound system, paddle shifters, wireless charging, head-up display, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control and hill hold Features like Assist are available. Also, there are more than 40 features of Suzuki Connect. At the same time, the Venue gets slightly more features than the Brezza. It offers more than 60 connected car technology features.

It gets Alexa and Google voice assistants, 8-inch touchscreen (smaller than Brezza), air purifier, 4-way powered driver, sunroof, auto AC, push-button start/stop, cooled glovebox, wireless phone charging, four airbags, electronic stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Reverse Camera, EBD with ABS and Hill-Hold Assist are available with features.
